Linda Kiely, co-founder of Voxpro – powered by TELUS International, has received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2019 IMAGE Businesswoman of the Year Awards ceremony.
The awards ceremony took place at the Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road and was attended by Ireland’s most inspiring businesswomen including Sinéad McSweeney, Managing Director of Twitter, Chupi Sweetman, CEO of Chupi and Lorraine Butler, Managing Director, CPM Ireland
The judges noted Linda as having a “courageous spirit”, “limitless vision” and “bravery in business where she simply takes things to the next level”.
Linda said of the award “You have no idea what an honour it is to receive this award after so many illustrious women came before me – The winners have been iconic, including Anne Harris, and Breege O’Donoghue. They’re all too good, and I don’t know how I quite made the cut here tonight. It’s probably because I never looked around me and I kept my head down.”
“I met my husband in the Examiner. Together we co-founded PageBoy, which it was then. We are the sum total of each other. The yin and yang of the business”
“I have to thank the members of our board who I can’t thank them enough for their solidarity, faith, and industry knowledge because when you grow a company organically, you don’t know it all.“
“Lastly, I’m blessed with industry friends here and I am a very, very proud lady tonight. I’d like to thank all the winners and nominees tonight – and I think we’re really going to rock it. “
